Thomas Kuhn said that you keep pointing out the anomalies and failures in the old paradigm and you come out loudly and with assurance for the new one; you insert it in places of public visibility and power. To be considered for support by PHISOLAMA, projects must fit with the general aims of the PHISOLAMA in being beneficial to humanity, respectful to life, and ecologically sustainable. Furthermore projects need to be planned to be viable and sustainable in and of themselves, whether they are existing or start-up activities. That is, it is not the aim of PHISOLAMA to have to continuously fund projects, but rather to act as a catalyst in making them work in and of themselves.

The whole life cycle of projects must be planned, including the processes that carry them through and the resources that are involved. The aim is to evaluate projects with maximum integrity and effectiveness, and minimal bureaucracy. PHISOLAMA is quite willing to support pioneering, innovative projects with uncertain probabilities of success, as long as the potential benefits warrant it and the projects are of sound integrity.

Projects that are of an open and co-operative nature are preferred over projects that are closely controlled or proprietary. Projects are generally not just supported as a one-way flow, but become part of an inter-connected network of projects and activities that provide support to each other.

The center of THE PHISOLAMA FOUNDATION will be a trust formed within a jurisdiction that maximizes the preservation and growth of the available resources, and that minimizes the risk of interference from any local or national government. Additionally there are trusts established in each national region through which the FOUNDATION would operate. These trusts would be the entities holding and disbursing funds. Furthermore a network of non-profit or for-profit corporations will be formed for the different activities planned and described in this Overview.

The longer-term strategy is to arrange the FOUNDATION to consist of legally independent units forming a network, in order to avoid the fallacies of centrally controlled hierarchies that risk falling apart if the top goes into disarray. The FOUNDATION network will consist of units that will be able to function independently, both legally and practically.

A significant percentage will be invested in activities that will be viable in themselves or that will return a profit, enabling the FOUNDATION to continue and expand its work indefinitely. The FOUNDATION will also, when appropriate, invite joint ventures with non-profits, corporations and governments that demonstrably share our aims, either within a specific area or wholly, thereby leveraging the resources at our disposal.

As far as possible, the FOUNDATION’S activities will be organized as co-operative ventures. PHISOLAMA will operate based on a bottom-line of increased quality of life for the most possible people for the longest possible time. Long-term benefits for humanity will always take precedence over any short-term monetary profits. It is, however, fully expected that the activities of the FOUNDATION in the long term will prove tremendously profitable in all regards.

The FOUNDATION’S initial endowment is primarily treated as a principal that will be maintained, and only interest and proceeds of these funds is used on a yearly basis. However, care is also taken that the principal is not unduly endangered by the prospects of collapse of traditional financial systems. In other words, the principal might be diversified into holdings that will be preserved regardless of the state of financial markets, such as into holdings of land or other tangible resources, as opposed to only capital holdings in the form of stocks and bonds.

PHISOLAMA has a Board of Directors who will set the overall direction of the FOUNDATION’S activities and organize the implementation of its aims. This is a working board, consisting of individuals of high integrity and with a comprehensive whole systems overview of many fields. PHISOLAMA also has an Advisory Council of qualified experts in different fields who will advise the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and support teams establish the infra-structure for the FOUNDATION that draws on the intelligence, creativity, and specific knowledge of a widely distributed network of participants. That is, it is the aim that decisions on local activities are, as much as possible, taken locally by those who are closest to the actual situation. When the Board of Directors needs to make decisions they will, whenever possible, do this in concert and consensus with representatives of local operations.

The body of the organization is formed out of an inter-connected network of teams. acting as units or a cells. Each team has its own area of focus, defined by geography, subject or activity. A team can and does operate independently, and interfaces with other teams and with the overall network. Groups of 3-12 teams form bigger units. This can be repeated to any number of levels.

Teams interface with other teams as necessary, by providing information, cooperation or resources. Each team is responsible for summarizing its work regularly for the sake of other teams and for the benefit of higher-order team groupings. Teams send representatives to meetings of team groupings, which meet less regularly than the teams themselves.

Developing less resource intensive building methods. Supporting energy efficient ergonomic projects that produce low-cost housing that can be constructed in short periods of time using ecofriendly building methods and materials. Provide housing and habitat education, comprehensive designs, and dwellings as appropriate.

Supporting experimentation into new models for social order, regulation and ethical conduct. Creating institutions that research and monitor existing or proposed legislation in many regions, and subsequently inform the public about threats to their freedom, health or happiness.

Supporting peace projects, events, monuments and publications. Promoting activities that envision peace, unite people, and support the human right to live life in peace. Facilitate programs that find common cause and provide effective conflict resolution.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Supporting programs and activities that promote positive attitudes, personal empowerment, inner motivation, celebration of life, and general well-being. Supporting the dissemination of good news, the availability of personal development tools, and centers of positive motivation and cooperation. PHISOLAMA FOUNDATION efforts in transportation will depend in great part upon strong cooperation between our Strategy areas of Transportation, Energy, Science & Technology, in addition to the essential underlying structuring of Community & Culture, Agriculture, Ecology, and Economics Strategies.

In the general sense and in the most known nomenclature, private investment programs are essentially capital raised for the purposes of the expansion of working capital and the upward trend towards strengthening a company’s balance sheet. More times than naught, private trade programs encompass the development of new products as well as technologies. Whereas in this article, we will be discussing Programs which is a completely different investment channel generating tremendous returns for small and large investors alike. Individuals, and companies alike, have very limited choices when it comes to investing in the high-yield markets of Private Trade Programs. Unless they have liquidity in the hundreds of millions, most others who have lesser valuated amounts to invest find themselves sitting on the sidelines without choices. In this article, the expansion of knowledge with regard to private trading, MTN, BG and other instrument facets, will explain why and where individuals willing to invest from $10M on up can participate in this Private game as well. Why is there such a demand for investing in Private Trades? Since early 1996 to present, Private Programs total investment dollars have escalated from a traceable phase of just over $10 billion dollars in 1996 to a current level of well over $75 billion dollars through the third quarter of 2008. There have been roughly 6,500 private trade programs done through the third quarter of 2008. From a low of fewer than 2,500 in all of 1996, you can see that the interest towards Private Trade Programs gains when markets and the economy as a whole degrades. Institutional investors and wealthy individuals are often attracted to these Private Programs. Large corporations, institutions, certain hedge funds and high net-worth individual investors have their blocked funds either go into a conglomerated leveraged program or, if individually large enough, enter into a Private Trade Program by themselves. Their blocked funds represent these Private Programs and are an economic stimulus in their own right by the generation of monies that is inevitable. Often, the derived profits, as well as the leveraged amount of the blocked funds, will go into further capitalization of new companies believed to have significant growth possibilities in industries such as: healthcare, bio-technologies, software/hardware and telecommunications. These programs add value to these companies and further compel advancements in those particular sectors. Without Private Trade Programs and the profits derived from such, many of the participants of these programs would never launch over the first tier with regards to the programs they are included in. Typical Minimum Investment Requirement – Private Programs and investing is not easily accessible to the typical investor or corporation unless they are either introduced to the trading platform from a referring client or through a series of referral educational sites where the client can thereafter request admission. Most Programs typically will accept investors who are willing to commit as much as $25 million to have blocked for the purposes of leverage. Although some firms have dropped their minimums to $250K, this is still out of reach for most people. Fund of Funds – A fund of funds holds the leveraged funds of many private partnerships that invest in private trades. It provides a way for firms and individual participants to increase cost effectiveness and thereby reduce their minimum investment requirement. Since a fund of funds is leveraging against those original funds, sometimes up to 20 to 50 times, the accumulated return for that specific funds of funds becomes much more lucrative. In addition, because of its size and diversification, a fund of funds has the potential to offer greater returns than you might experience with an individual Private Trade Program. This only holds true to those Private Trade Programs that are under the $100 million dollar level though since most times the lesser amounts are leveraged through funds of funds or equivalent means. The disadvantage, if it could be considered such, is that there is an additional layer of fees paid to the fund of funds manager. Though typically $10 million and up will roll out the welcome mat, investors can on occasion, participate with $250,000 – $1 million to the respective fund of funds manager. For those smaller amounts under $10 million, the platform manager may not let you participate unless you have a net worth between $1.5 million to $5 million. Is it worth it? There are several key risks in any type of Private Trade Programs. As mentioned earlier, the fees of Private Trade Programs that cater to smaller investors can be higher than you would normally expect with conventional investments, such as mutual funds. With a pre-established return rate on these smaller (less than $100M) funds in the high double to low triple digits, the promulgation of these fees are irrespective and of little consequence to the investor. In a market as volatile as the one we currently face, it is much harder to find streamlined programs that offer little risk. Transferring of investors’ funds is not evidenced in these Private Trade Programs that are at or above $10 million dollars. A block is placed on the client’s funds within their account for the duration of the trading period. Hence, the safety the client experiences remains secure with the leveraged program they enter into. The phrase “The rich get richer” is never more obvious when you learn how to leverage cash and financial instruments in Private Programs.

And, as a side benefit, just a couple of milligrams will work wonders if you’re suffering from prostate trouble. Benign prostatic hyperplasia sufferers find they don’t have to get up and go as often at night when they’re taking melatonin.
Putting Melatonin to Work for You
If you’re over 50, you should think about taking melatonin. There is to date, no evidence to tarnish its perfect safety record.8
I recommend a small anti-aging dose of 0.5 mg a night. For jet lag, take 1 mg for every time zone crossed.
If you have cancer, I recommend a much higher “antioxidant dose” of 20 to 40 mg every
night before bed. Of course, be sure to discuss this with your doctor first.
